Products Detail
Sardine (Sardine) is a collective term for some edible fishes of the sardines, Sardines, and Sardines, and some food fishes of the Herring family. It also refers to common herring (Clupea harengus) made into canned fish in oil and other small herring or herring-like fish.
Sardines are called sardines in Hong Kong, also known as sardines, turtles and sardines. The small one is two inches long, and the larger one has a ruler. The lower jaw is slightly longer than the upper jaw, the teeth are not visible, the back is pale, the belly is white, and the flesh is beautiful. They are mostly used for canned food. The name was originally captured in Sardinia, Italy, and the ancient Greek called it "sardonios" which means "from Sardinia". Distributed in the isotherm ocean area of 6-20 degrees north-south latitude.
Sardines are mainly used for food, but fish meat can also be made into animal feed. The uses of sardine oil include the manufacture of paints, pigments and linoleum, and it is also used to make margarine in Europe. It is also an important marine economic fish in the world.
Sardines are gregarious fish, and when gathered, the number of sardines can reach 300 million.
Life habits
Sardines are warm-water fish in the offshore waters and are generally not found in the open seas and oceans. They swim quickly and usually inhabit the upper middle layer, but in autumn and winter when the surface water temperature is lower, they inhabit deeper sea areas. The optimum temperature of most sardines is around 20-30℃, and only a few species have a lower optimum temperature. For example, the optimum temperature of Far Eastern sardines is 8-19℃. Sardines mainly feed on plankton, which varies according to the species, sea area and season. Adult fish and juvenile fish are also different. For example, the adult golden sardine mainly feeds on plankton crustaceans (including copepods, brachyuridae, amphipods and mysids), and also feeds on diatoms. In addition to feeding on planktonic crustaceans, juveniles also eat diatoms and Dinoflagellate. Golden sardines generally do not migrate long distances. In autumn and winter, adult fish live in deep water 70-80 meters away. In spring, the coastal water temperature rises and fish schools migrate to the shore for reproduction. The larvae and juveniles grow up on the coastal bait, and gradually migrate northward with the warm current of the South China Sea in summer. The surface water temperature drops in autumn, and then migrates south. After October, when the body of the fish has grown to more than 150 mm, due to the decrease in coastal water temperature, it gradually shifts to the deeper sea area.
