The growing environment of mushrooms
nutrient
Mushroom is a type of indoor edible mushroom that gradually grows from mycelium to fruiting body and eventually becomes edible mushroom. It can grow well and quickly in a suitable environment. Mushrooms are a type of saprophytic fungi that do not have chlorophyll in their bodies, so they cannot undergo photosynthesis directly under light. During the growth process of mushrooms, various nutrients in the culture medium are mainly used as nutritional sources to achieve growth and development. Culture materials generally consist of various substances such as pig manure, cow manure, and phosphorus fertilizer.
temperature
The growth of mushrooms is mainly divided into two stages: mycelial growth and fruiting body growth. At different growth stages, mushrooms also have different requirements for temperature. During the mycelial growth stage, the appropriate temperature range is 18-20 ℃, and during the fruiting stage, the appropriate growth temperature is 12-16 ℃. In the various stages of mushroom growth, temperature control is crucial. If the temperature is too high, the development of mycelium will accelerate, but it is very weak. This type of mycelium is prone to aging and premature aging, and it is very easy to open the umbrella when it grows to the fruiting body. If the temperature is below 4 ℃, both hyphae and fruiting bodies will stop growing.
water
The moisture content of mushroom fruiting bodies is high, about 90%. In actual cultivation of mushrooms, the humidity of the culture material should be controlled at 55%~60%. If the environment is too dry, the growth of mushrooms will be seriously affected. If it is too wet, it will affect the airflow, and the mycelium and fruiting body will gradually die. Therefore, the control of moisture should also be accurate, which is a problem that needs to be paid attention to in actual cultivation and an important principle to be followed in mushroom cultivation.
air
Mushrooms themselves possess aerobic properties and require sufficient oxygen to maintain their growth. During the growth process, mushrooms continuously absorb oxygen from the culture material and release carbon dioxide. Therefore, in actual cultivation of mushrooms, it is important to regularly ventilate and exchange air.
Illumination
Mushrooms do not require photosynthesis, and in actual cultivation, they do not need to receive light. Even in a dark environment, the fruiting body will still maintain its original growth and development state. If the light is too strong, it can actually affect the growth and development of the fruiting body.
PH value
The pH value of the culture medium needs to be strictly controlled, usually maintained within the range of 6.8 to 7.5.
